Tickets Question

Not sure if this is the right forum for this (I'm a rookie). I'm trying to find out if I should buy the park hopper or not. I noticed that the package estimates from the Disney site show very little difference between 4 and 7 day ticket packages.

Is it possible to just get a 7 or 8 day ticket and just use two tickets in one day instead of paying an extra $150 for the hopper.

I'm guessing it's just not that easy.

Another question. What if I get the water park option without the hopper. Can I go to 1 main park each day and hit one of the water parks later that day for each day of the trip?

Sorry, no, the base ticket will only allow a single park per day.

Yes, up to the number of admissions allowed for the water parks.

You are right, the daily admission price decreases with the number of days.

Unfortunately though, you can not use the same ticket to enter two different theme parks on the same day unless you have the hopper option. The tickets are valid for the number of days you purchased and not the number of park visits. Once you used a MYW pass at any theme park you can't use it at another theme park on the same day - unless you have the hopper feature. FWIW - the hopper option is $40.00 per ticket regardless of the number of days. Not sure where your $150.00 figure came from.

Yes to your second question, the water parks and plus options don't require the hopper option so you could go to a waterpark during the day and a theme park at night for example. As long as you have enough "plus options" and park days I guess you could do it every day of your vacation!!
