Tickets purchased as a gift?

Wow! I'm on an unreal rollercoaster ride that just keeps getting better and better. We had planned a trip to Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort for a few days at the end of the month. Then just this morning, we managed to get a few more days of vacation time so we decided to head to WDW instead. We will be heading there in 6 days!!! We will be driving from Canada so our stay at WDW will round out to be August 26-Sept 4. And it just keeps getting better because Grandpa wants to buy my 3 boys their WDW tickets but I'm unsure how that will work as I think you need to have the credit card that the tickets were purchased with at pick up? The simplest solution would be to use our own credit card to buy the tickets however Grandpa's credit card will be a much better choice as it is a US dollar credit card. We all have Magic Bands from a previous trip if that makes a difference. So I suppose my question is, will we have any issue using these tickets purchased online?

Grandpa can purchase the tickets as Will Call from your MDE and you can link them to each child. Because you already have the MagicBands, the MBs provide the link to those tickets at the park entrances and the FP lines.

You don't have to pick up the tickets because they'll already be in your account. Take a printout of your purchase confirmation with you if you decide to pick up the tickets at the resort, but, it isn't necessary.

This is assuming the OP is staying onsite and will have Magic bands. But yes buying the tickets with Grandpa's credit card via your MDE account will automatically link the tickets to your account. And a print out with the confirmation number should suffice for pick up.
