How far before your trip do you have to purchase your tickets from Orbitz? I was trying to wait for a better Ebates % but I want to make sure I can get the Buy 3 get 2 free promotion at Orbitz. Anyone have experience with ticket purchases close to their trip date?

I purchased mine 10 days before our Disneyland trip last November and didn't have any issues. It sounds like prices are going up soon, so you may want to buy now. You can get a higher percentage back if you use Cheaptickets instead of Orbitz.

Do you know how cheaptickets handles getting the confirmation number to you for you to schedule fastpasses?

Do you know how cheaptickets handles getting the confirmation number to you for you to schedule fastpasses?

I just bought a WDW ticket a few weeks ago and it was very easy. When you log in to Cheaptickets or Orbitz, you go to "My Trips" and click on your ticket . There are three codes at the top of my ticket page, two Cheaptickets codes and then the Disney Ticket Confirmation number. The Disney number will show up about 4 days after you purchase the ticket. I put this number in for my ticket on MDE and I was able to make my FP+ reservations with no problems.

If you are able to link your orbitz/cheap tickets to your magic band, do you still need to bring your voucher and pick something up at WDW?

I am also interested to know if you need to bring voucher, or do anything at WDW if we have already linked the tickets to our magic bands?

I'm trying to hold out as well for ebates, but not sure that's gonna happen. I'm definitely getting my tickets before my 60 day mark for FP+
