Tickets on account to book FP+

Do you have to have tickets on your account to book FP+? I have always had annual passes but for this next trip next summer we will not. We are trying to decide how to get our tickets and want to be able to book FP+ early and did not know if we need to have some sort of ticket on our account. Also how early can we start booking FP+? again I have always had an annual pass so I never needed to be concerned with time frame for booking early.

Yes, you need to have valid tickets linked to your account in order to book FP+. If you're staying onsite, you can book FP+ 60 days in advance, and if offsite it's 30 days.
