I am debating whether or not to get tickets with no expiration. We are going in April and might be going back in October. Are they really forever?

Forever and ever! Unless you lose them. But if you have a copy of the number on the back, you can get them back!:thumbsup2

Thank you! Now if I purchase them for my kids 3 and 6, will those expire when they are 10? I also have a 1 year old but obviously can't buy him a ticket yet.

Normally, "non-expiring" tickets will expire when Walt Disney World or you expire whichever happens first :) .

A ticket brochure from the mid 1990's (when all standard tickets were non-expiring) mentioned "... good for any x days out of the rest of your life ...".

However there have been exceptions made on a case by case basis.

Non-expiring tickets are usually not cost effective unless they will last for two complete vacations or have water park fun a lot of which is left over too.

You can wait on adding the non-expiration component until after you get there*.

*1. Do not wait until the last minute when you might be standing in the ticket booth line and not get back to your resort punctually to catch your Magical Express bus back to the airport.

*2. For certain 2009 packages (may or may not be re-offered), if you ordered the tickets with non-expiration, their overall cost was much less compared with adding non-expiration later. Like buying a 4 day NE and getting 3 NE days free.

If you are going twice this year have you looked into just getting APs? I would suggest an AP for at least one of you. That way you can get an AP room discount. I did 2 trips in 09 and it was way cheaper to get an AP.
