Tickets have to be used consecutively?

I am booked from 7/24 - 7/31 (7 nights). I purchased 7 day theme park admission. I plan on visiting the parks 4 days, taking one day off, and then back to the parks for the remaining 3 days. The Disney agent assured me this is fine, but now I am having second thoughts and wondering if the 7-day tickets I bought are supposed to be used consecutively. Anyone know anything about this? I would hate to arrive at a park on our last day only to be told our tickets have expired!!!

Tickets purchased without no expiration have to be used within 14 days of the first use. So it doesn't matter how you use them, as long as they're all used up in the 14 days.

Also if you want, before the end of the 14th day from 1st use, you can upgrade your ticket to make it a 10 day, no exp, add hoppers, water parks, etc. as you like.

Just remember, if it started as a 7 nt ticket, and you use 5 nts then upgrade to a 10 day, it would still have just 5 nts left, as if you originally bought it as a 10 day. kwim?

It's a great idea if you think you'll be returning. It's a lot cheaper than buying another ticket next time.

After the 14 day, the ticket is dead.
