Tickets/Genie/Multiple People

I've been watching a lot of videos on people demonstrating how to use Genie. They all seem to be just for the specific vlogger though.

We'll be having a party of 7 at the parks (all are adults from 21-74). I do see all of the tickets listed and assigned to each person on the Disney app on my phone.

If we decide we need to buy Lightning Lane tickets (I'm hoping not!) will I need everyone to do it at the same time (and make sure they have the app on their phone)? Or does anyone know of any videos/articles explaining how one person can control it for everybody?

My brother and sister both had their own reservations, but we were connected on MDE Friends/Family.

When you go to book the ride, everyone connected should show up and it gives you the option to select who you want to add.

Very easy if you are all connected!
