I have a two year old. Last time I check kids under three are free. He won't be three until a couple months after the trip (yay for a fall baby!!!). We are taking him because it seems to be the trend. He gets brain surgery I tell him if he is a tough little man we will go visit Woody and Buzz and then we are off to a Disney resort. (Starting to regret the trend after 3 surgeries haha. Might need to stop before he can remember). Anyway, I don't remember if I had to bring anything for him when he was 1 or not. Do I have bring a copy
Of the birth certificate? Also, my brother has been booking fast passes for us but without a pass my son can't get his (though he has a magic band). Is this going to cause issues and we will have to redo them all anyway? (Well the ones for rides he's tall enough for).

You don't need to provide proof of age. Disney works on the honor system. Because he's under 3, he will be allowed to ride with an adult who has a valid FP+ and doesn't need a reservation of his own.

Ok thank you. I think I have on in his medical records folder (he has special needs/ medical stuff going on and so I have to carry info incase we go to the ER) but if not his dad has them. And right now getting his dad to but diapers is like pulling teeth. Much less trying to get him to hand over paperwork. It took three months to get him to sign a paper so he couldn't say I took him out of state without notice. So before starting this long process (just in case the winds change and he decides to withhold them until the last minute) I know. I didn't want that to be the reason my son didn't get in or we had to scramble with figure out buying another pAss

Exactly, you don't need a ticket for him, you don't need a FP+. He can ride with the adult who has a FP+ :thumbsup2

No prof needed, leave the birth certificate safely at home and have a great trip :thumbsup2
