I just wanted to double check...

A friend is going and was thinking about buying multiday tickets off of ebay and sharing them with others. I advised her against this because of knowing about the fingerscan at WDW... is it the same at DLR?

No finger scans at Disneyland but I'd be wary of purchasing tickets from ebay. Although technically tickets are "non-transferable" I imagine this happens often. I just think it would be a bit risky, and besides, tickets do expire ten(?) days after the first use I believe so if the tickets have already been used one day then the remaining days would have to be used shortly thereafter.

Thanks for letting me know...

The whole ebay thing makes me nervous too. It's up to her as to what she's comfortable with, but I thought I'd give her all the info to base her decision on and she can take it from there!

If you're talking WDW PH tix, non-expiring

they can be "converted' daily via stopping @ the tix booth

Priced it out awhile ago as to 10 day non-expiring PH vs 5 day or rest. AP @ DL; not much a savings in price for my family of 3; easier to just purchase tix @ the gate.

I wasn't sure if they did fingerscans at DLR like they do at WDW, so the tickets are *really* non-transferable because they're physically tied to someone.

She's was wondering about buying multi-day DLR tickets from ebay and then she'd use them one day and pass them on the next day to someone else, etc. I, personally, don't want to do this as the tickets are suppose to non-transferable (even if you can get around it), plus it's only saving something like $5 a person. I wanted to warn her about the possible hiccups she may run into when it came down to using the tickets.

Just to comfort you: I have bought and sold DL tickets on eBay many times before. I have never had one complaint and I have never been ripped off. IMO, it' quite safe with the accountability to eBay. But this is just my opinion.

Just make sure that there is no name on the ticket. As they do check id's when you enter the park if there is a name on the ticket..

We tried passing it on to a friend as out of the 4 times we used the ticket they only once checked for the id. And the one time we tried passing the ticket on..

I have never been asked for my ID with the name on the ticket. Never. And it has never been my name on it either.

just make sure they have great feedback

I wanted 2 tickets so I found someone on ebay selling the last 2 days of a 5 day park hopper I paid 190.00 for both tickets went to the AP to upgrade and paid 140.00 more.

I paid 330.00 for 518.00 AP not a bad deal at all. Is it wrong to do yeah sure but hell they are making so much money on everything it just crazy.

But here I am going more because I have an AP spending more money to give to the bank of disney and I enjoy it.
