Hi,
We are leaving for Disneyworld on December 6 (flying out of Seattle) and I was going to order my MVMCP tickets today to be delivered via mail. It shows they will be delivered by October 30th. However, after seeing todays "Province" and the story about the international back up at Customs I am a little leery that my tickets won't arrive in time. Anyone else in the same boat. Should I use "Will Call" instead. I would prefer to have the tickets in my hand before we go but .....just wondering if anybody had any suggestions or are presently awaiting their ordered tickets.

Thanks
Kathy

Here's my latest experience with TicketMania (they have been WONDERFUL). We're leaving in a few days and ordered our Park Hoppers at the first of the month. Got a call yesterday that Customs (in their infinite wisdom) returned our tickets back to Ticketmania for no apparent reason. We leave in 5 days. :(... anyhoo TicketMania said they would drop them off at Saratoga on Sunday for us! They handled themselves great and I really appreciated their help.

2 other family members received their tickets in plenty of time (in less than 2 weeks), one in Edmonton and one in Nova Scotia with no problems for the same time (we're going down together).. just wondering why ours got held. Hmmm..

I've picked up tickets by will-call on two occasions. It really is easy. You just give them the confirmation sheet or if you don't have that, the CM will ask for the credit card you used to purchase the tickets with. I prefer to have the tickets will-call ... it's one less thing for me to forget ;)

Thanks for your replies. I ordered my tickets from Disney and paid the $10 for international express delivery. I hope if mine get "sent back" by customs they will let me know. Sounds like TicketMania gave you good service.
Would love to know customs reasons for returning tickets!

Thanks
Kathy

We just ordered MVMCP tickets through Disney's website and I had them sent with the international express shipping. I believe I ordered them Oct 11. The receipt said they would arrive by the 23rd, so I was pretty surprised when they showed up 2 days later! They were in a regular envelope stuffed inside a courier-document type envelope, with a customs declaration on it.

I hadn't heard anything about an international back-up, but maybe Disney had and they were working around it? Weird. Anyway, as you can guess, I was pretty happy with their shipping. ;)

Hope the same happens for you. :)

Just a heads up.........

You may get them via DHL Courier!

Watch out for the Yellow Notice!

Have Fun!

So hopefully 6 tickets won't have to come in a parcel type package and will just be sent in a regular envelope!? That is good news about your tickets! What night are you going to MVMCP? We are going on December 7th.

I CAN'T WAIT!!

DHL courier is indeed the type of courier envelope it was in. It wasn't a parcel-type though, just a legal-sized envelope but made of cardboard rather than thin paper. I think it would fit in a regular mailbox (the concierge of our building took it for me because we only have a tiny mailbox).

There were 4 tickets in our package, so I think your 6 should come the same way. We're going on the 7th and 10th - I love the Magic Kingdom and we've never been there for Christmas before so I couldn't resist 2 nights! ;)

I'm excited too! :hyper:

Yeah!! My tickets arrived today! That was fast!

Now I can really say it - I'm Going to Disneyworld!
