Has anyone purchased tickets for the park at your local Disney Store? Anyone had any problems with that? They do get activated here right? I think it's a realy convenient thing, and one less thing to buy when you get there! Any suggestions???

You can buy the tickets from your local Disney Store. They should activate them at the register. There should be no problem with them. If you choose to do so, definitely make a copy of the front and backs of the tickets and hold onto the receipt -- just in case you lose them prior to your arrival or duirng your trip.

There are other outlets to buy tickets from -- at a discount -- not a huge one, but somewhat of a discount.

www.mapleleaftickets.com

and there's one more -- can't think of it.

I recently used undercover tourist a few weeks ago -- ordered the ticket on Wednesday -- had it in my hands on Saturday. I highly recommend them.

Have a great trip!

I would call your local Disney store and check to make sure they have the type of tickets you want available before you go there. The Disney store is now owned by the children's place and may not have all the tickets in stock. Matter of fact I think once the stock for certain types ie. AP's are out that they will not be replaced. Best to call and make sure.

We purchased our tickets from the Disney store last year and will be doing so again for our trip in a few weeks. It is much more convenient than worrying about buying them at the park (who wants another long line to stand in) and less stressful than getting them from an on-line site (even though most are reputable). I would highly recommend it. Yes, they activate them right when you purchase them. And I strongly suggest what the other post said about making copies of the front and back in case they get lost at any point.

I bought my tickets from the Disney Store last year. They will activate them right there for you. I never had any problems. The only thing the Disney Store cannot do is add the "no expiration" option. This must be done at WDW or at one of the resorts.

Have a great trip! It looks like we'll be there around the same time!

Hi! I'm a Disney Store CM and we do sell a lot of Disney World Tickets. Most people do find it a lot more convenient than buying them at the parks. The tickets are activated at time of purchase. We do give out 2 receipts with the tickets. One of them has the actual ticket numbers printed out on them. I would make copies of that receipt, along with the tickets, and keep it in a safe place. You can customize your tickets starting with a 3 day up to a 7 day. You can even add a non expiration option now to certain tickets. Just give them a call and they should be happy to go over the options with you. Happy planning! :wizard:

So that gives it away i'm from Texas huh...
Seriously, thank you for your words. It does seem more convenient to buy them at the store, and I will do that this weekend. Go to the mall, do more shopping and buy my tickets...
Again, gracias...thanks for the words that make me feel allot better!!!
