Tickets at Mapleleaf

Is there discounted parking if you go a series of days in a row, or is it really $14 per day (eek). I would plan a 7 day trip next year but parking is SO expensive.

Here's the link with a small extra discount.

http://www.mapleleaftickets.com/MoneySavingExpert.htm?pw=MSE&a=749

The description says
7 Day - 2 Park Universal Stay and Play Ticket
Unlimited Park to Park Admission into Universal and Islands of Adventure for 7 consecutive days!

I used the link from here.

But even doing whatever it was I did to get to the highly discounted tickets before (that link put a "cookie" on my computer so even when I went to the site later with their normal link, I got the pricing once I found the stay/play 7 day tickets), I can't get to it now. Can anyone else find what they already bought now? The special price might just be gone now. :(

If you go to that link, then come back to this page (use a tab for each page) and click on the other link that i just posted above, put in the number of tickets you want for the stay and play and check out and they will come up at 129. That first link puts on the cookie, but you need to use the other link (for some reason) to get to the stay and play. It works that way though :-)

Found the link to the 7 day stay and play. So happy to be saving so much money. Thank you for all the helpful info. Leaving in 11 days so did not want to risk shipping (to Canada) so arranged for delivery to our hotel (cheaper anyway). :cool1:

Okay, I'm a wee bit confused. Those 2-park 7-day stay-and-play tix ($129) are different than the 7-day park-to-park tix ($172) that everyone was ordering earlier in this thread - and receiving the 14-day park-to-parks as a substitute, right?

The two park stay and play for 7 days is 131. If the link above works for you you will get an additional 2% off at checkout making them 129 (but you have to click it and go to that special mapleleaf page then come back to this page and click on the other link to the stay and play and order the tickets from there. For some reason it picks up the 2% discount when you check out.). When the tickets come they are for 14 days. Not sure what was talked about earlier, but these are the best deal.

No, the stay/play 2 park tickets were exactly what I ordered, and received the 14 day instead.

dtum, thanks! I guess I just wasn't remembering exactly what I did just a few days ago! :goodvibes

I don't think there's much way around it unless you stay off-site and use some kind of public transport to the park. :confused3 Stinks, huh? At least Disney gives free parking for resort guests. That is not a minor perk!

Ya but their similar rooms are more expensive. It is all built in.

Aah, but not a Value Resort. I know it's apples to oranges, or maybe Capris to Red Delicious :lmao: (and also off-topic) but still ... it's a perceived value even when none necessarily exists.

One can also save an additional 5% cashback...Discovercard has theme park tickets listed as one of the bonus items for August, assuming that it is coded appropriately from MapleLeaf.

Okay, that's for clarifying, dtum. I was looking at different tickets, and just wanted to be sure if I ordered the 7-day $129 stay-and-play's, that I would probably get 14 days - we'll be at UO for the beginning of a nine-day trip (mostly at WDW), and might want to use them at either end of our stay.

Thanks again!

Note that this a has limit of 5% on up to $300.

Love the DIS! :cool1:

What a great value! Just ordered these tix tonight for our trip NEXT summer. I missed out on the $99 deal a while back and have been kicking myself ever since. We already have 10-day tix for WDW for the same trip but had planned at least two days at US and IoA... now we'll have even more flexibility (especially with a preschooler and two teens wanting to do different things). Morning at IoA? Lunch at the townhouse? Dinner at MK? No problem!

Here's another question for those of you who have bought the Maple Leaf tickets. And it will sound kinda silly but bear with me on this...

Can we still get that HP commemorative ticket the US website is pushing? I know, it's silly, but I'd personally like to have one. *shrug* This is just more out of curiosity. I'm not going to pay more than I have to just to get a little 3-D card. I'm going to buy enough souvenirs. lol

And I am still looking for a deal on the 2-day passes. I wish I'd seen the AAA passes when they were up but yeah...didn't...fail.

Sorry, one more nitpicky question - anybody gotten the 14-days as a substitute for the 7-days when ordering a child's ticket? We are three adults (though I can't think of anyone who would classify my 10-year-old as an "adult") and one child....

Hi,

two stay and play offers. is the one with wet and wild also a good deal? and are the stay and play tickets park to park?

We did. We're a family of 3; 2 adults and one 6 year old, and apart from the CHILD mention on the ticket, it's the same.

We didn't get the commemorative ticket. It was actually a roadblock in discussions with DH about ordering from mapleleaf, but he finally gave in. See, we had had the Harry Potter package booked, and originally we were happy with the price, but then I started getting really concerned about the cost. I noticed that the 3 Broomsticks isn't that great for a vegetarian family (I'm sure we could have gotten something to eat, but it's just not a happy place, menu-wise, for us), so whatever we were paying towards the included meal there wasn't high on the "value" list. Then I noticed the better prices on room-only through the Loews site, then I re-re-re-read this thread, and I wanted to cancel the package.

Dh wanted the special tickets. But he just said that I would scrapbook the tickets. Possibly true, but I bargain-shop for all other aspects of scrapbooking, so why would I spend THAT much more just for a special ticket, when just BEING there would be special?

So that's how I got the family on board. But I'm not THAT big on scrapbooking everything, or framing things or anything like that... If I were, I'd likely have bought ONE ticket from Universal, or looked more into ebay (the one I saw on there a week or so ago was over $30 at that time), just to have one of the special tickets.
