Tickets at Mapleleaf

(i'm also thanking the people who posted some great links to discounted rental cars--since a rental car will make it easy to do the long "hops" from wdw to universal.)

Could you please guide me to this particular post about the links to discounted rental cars? We may be in need of a rental when we go!
Thanks so much!!

well, not sure of the threads i found them on, but here are two links....

http://www.carrentalsavers.com/florida-car-rental.html

http://www.vacationoutlet.com/car/default.asp

i especially liked the first one. i even used the florida page for an upcoming trip to san francisco and was able to get a great deal. better that the other pages on that site. not sure why. and they give you both their confirmation number as well as the rental car company's confirmation number, so you can go straight to the rental car company's site to see that it's really booked.

good luck.

i am SO VERY GLAD you posted about these tickets here. without you we'd be paying more money and would only have the two days. now if we want we can go back again later in the week. there's no way we'll use 14 days, or even the 7 days we thought we were buying, but we might use 3 or 4! THANKS!!!!

also, it's good to hear that many people have used mapleleaf and that they are a reputable company. i've used undercover tourists before and like them, but i'm new to mapleleaf. the man i spoke with was pleasant and seemed knowledgable.

has anyone ever tried to upgrade these tickets at the parks to an AP? i wonder if it's possible and if so how much more an AP would be.
I had the same question so I called today and they said to just go to guest services when you get to the park and they will place a value on your ticket and apply it towards your AP!

oh boy - that's good news!

If someone finds out the cost of this, can you report back? Thanks!

Just got my tickets in the mail, still the 14 day passes. Thanks for the info, I was going to do the $90 week long pass last year, but I never got around to it and now it's gone. This deal is almost as good and it's by far the best deal I've seen lately. Also, thanks to the PP about the rental car deals, just got a great deal from one of those sites. I love saving money!!!!! :thumbsup2

Not sure if i should go ahead with the Stay and Play or wait. We are going next June and I heard they may have a discount (like the previous extra 2%) toward Sept. Since i have to experience with Maple Leaf, does anyone know if they do that or should i just go with the current offer-after all it's only a few dollars.

You may want to try putting them in your cart and proceeding to checkout to see what the actual price is - I got an additional $10 discount going through the "moneysavingexpert.com" website (I don't remember doing it, but I think one of the links on here takes you through that site) so it ended up being $129 for the adult tickets after all. That probably is just about the 2% discount you are looking for, and you don't have to stress about them selling out...

That's what happened to me and I got them $129. Not sure how I went through that other site. Twice I had them in my cart and took them out because I wasn't sure if i wanted to get them, then I clicked on a link somewhere posted re: the 2%, but the stay and play tickets were on the list so I went back to the other link that had the stay and play and this time the discount showed up. Not sure how that worked, but glad it did.

 Thank you, thank you!! for this thread. I'm about to purchase the 7 day play and stay for $50 more (that's only $10 each for 5 people!) than I was going to pay for only 2 day base passes. Going through moneysavingexpert did cookie me with the 2% discount. I didn't really need to make this into a 'total theme park' vacation, but now we have that choice if we decide we love Universal.

Thank you! :cheer2:

I also want to thank you. I have searched every where for tickets and this by far is the best deal I have seen in a while. Even though the link stated above shows a more expensive amount once you click on the buy tab the lesser amount shows up. We ordered our tickets now and will pick them up in November when we get there. ( yes I am cheap and didn't want to pay the 12 bucks shipping lol) I also rented an 8 passenger van for a GREAT price from a link just a few comments back!! I so love this board!!!!

Just ordered mine too.

We probably will not go till November, so I really was wanting to hold out to see if the 7 day/99.00 special came back....but this was so much better than anything else out there now that I decided to just bite the bullet and order them.

Update- I just read somewhere that undercover tourist is offering the 7 day 2 park ticket with one Halloween Horror Night ticket ( 72.46 value.) for a total price of 173.53 tax and shipping included! This might be an even better deal for those of you wanting a Halloween Horror night.

Just got mine in the mail and they are the 14 consecutive day passes as others have reported. Has the name of a tour operator on the back that I didn't quite get, but I have used Maple Leaf before and know they are reputable.
