Tickets at Mapleleaf

What I was trying to explain is that there is a difference between 14 day park visits (((AND))) multi-day tickets that expire 14 days from 1st use...

It's just common sense... :rolleyes1

Yep, there is a difference, but I don't recall anyone that purchased these tickets trying to say they were non-expiring tickets. Everyone seems to aware of the fact that they are only good for 14 days after the first use, same as the 7 day tickets were only good for 14 days after first use. Even I only use these tickets for 3 or 4 days, it was still a pretty good deal for the "2 parks in the same day" tickets.

Didn't Preds say?: Though we ordered the 7 day tickets, we were sent 14 day tickets... too bad we only need 4 days!

Didn't Indy Denise say?:...real tickets, 14 day, not a voucher

Didn't Darkestsong say?: and as said by others the tickets were for 14 days rather than the 7 we purchased.

Didn't Lucky4me say?: I'll only be using ours four days out of the 14.

Could you finally figured it out or still confused? At any rate, it's their misunderstanding, not mine... I just wanted to clarify a point here, no need for the bully attitude.

I repeate, it's just common sense... :rolleyes1

Over and out with this non sense...:lmao:

Thanks for the link, everyone! I just ordered a couple for our trip in August, and let the others in our group know about it. I was glad to see that someone had used them already at the turnstiles - I would've been too scared to risk it otherwise!

No need to be scared, MapleLeaf is a very reputable company and has been talked about on the DIS for years. Anytime you see reference to a company that you are unsure of, use the Search function on the task bar at the top of the page and if it is legit, someone on the DIS will have used them and posted about it at some time or another.

Point I am trying to make is there is not a misunderstanding on anyones part. The posts you are pointing out are only saying they have a 14 day ticket, NOT an ticket that doesn't expire. If someone wants to use that ticket for 14 straight days, then they do in fact have a 14 day ticket.

And as far as the bully attitude, you asking if I'm still confused is the bully attitude. I'm not....nor have I ever been....confused about the tickets I purchased. I'm perfectly aware of what I purchased and I'm happy that I made the purchase because like I said, even if I only use the ticket for 3 or 4 days of the 14 I'm allowed to use it, it was still a good deal to me!

Whether you purchased a 2/3/4/7 UO ticket at maple leaf that expires 14 days from 1st use (((does not allow))) you to visit the park for 14 days straight. Your 2/3/4/7/ UO ticket is only good to be used in a (((time frame))) of 14 days!

There a hundreds of people reading these forums to get accurate info to make travel plans and to say that you got a ticket at maple leaf that allow you for 14 day visits, even thou you ordered a 2/3/4/7 day ticket is misleading...

If you still don't get it, well, whatever :sad2:

Right ... and the ticket I'm holding in my hand that I just received from Maple Leaf says "Valid 14 consecutive days including first use."

Yes, there are many different types of tickets available for sale in the marketplace that offer one, two, three, four, seven, fourteen days of admissions. The tickets I ordered from Maple Leaf were 7-day tickets, but what they sent (bonus!) are 14-day tickets that expire on the 14th day.

Correct, the tickets that are being sent out are 14 day tickets that can be used for 14 days that expire 14 days after first use.

The ticket being purchased is showing a 7 day ticket that is valid for 7 days and expire 14 days from first use but they don't have those and so are sending out the 14 day tickets.

If you only use it for 4 days...still a good deal :wizard:

Actually I would say there are thousands of people that read these boards looking for information. I have been reading and posting for years now and I can tell you that there is always going to be some type of misinformation given. I also can tell you that in this case, I am not the one giving the misinformation. These tickets that I actually have in my hand say that they are valid for 14 consecutive days including first use. No place on the ticket does it say I can only use the ticket for 2/3/4/7 days. It says I can use it for 14 days; therefore, it is a 14 day ticket that expires at the end of the 14 days even if all of the 14 days have not been used!

Yep, that is what mine say too.

Yes, another posted called after we started receiving the 14 day tickets after ordering the 7 day and Mapleleaf confirmed the tickets were a free upgrade since they ran out of the 7 day.

I apologize if I get everyone going again, but I do not see on the tickets where it says park to park. So I think it will take 2 of the fourteen to park hop. In other words you are still getting 7 days of park to park?

i called mapleleaf way back when. with the ticket they sent us we can go into both parks every day for 14 days, starting from the first day we go in. it doesn't say "hop" or language like that, but that's what he said it does.

someone else could also call to confirm this if desired.

They are definitely hoppers. No need to worry about that.

We got the tickets in the mail already! Wow - ordered just a few days ago. Looks like these were originally tickets that were sold overseas, since I believe the UK sites have the 2 Park Bonus 14 day tickets (which is what these say they are).

I just wanted to check, since these are paper (thick paper) tickets that we have to fill in with our name and signature, when we get to Universal can we trade them for plastic ones, or are these fairly water-proof? I'd hate to ruin the ticket on a water ride if the ziploc bag doesn't hold them well.

They do not appear to be water proof at all, just typical heavy paper.

I am the one who let the board know about these tickets. I bought mine in January and used them this month. They are PArk to Park...go to one park, leave, go to another park, go to your room, take a nap, go back to a park you missed something at, go have dinner at Citiwalk, go to the other park...then get free Citywalk admission...all in one day. For 14 consecutive days, after first use...Enjoy.
Again, I used these tickets and there was no issue. Mapleleaf was great to buy from, very reputable.
I would buy them again, even at a higher retail.

i am SO VERY GLAD you posted about these tickets here. without you we'd be paying more money and would only have the two days. now if we want we can go back again later in the week. there's no way we'll use 14 days, or even the 7 days we thought we were buying, but we might use 3 or 4! THANKS!!!!

(i'm also thanking the people who posted some great links to discounted rental cars--since a rental car will make it easy to do the long "hops" from wdw to universal.)

also, it's good to hear that many people have used mapleleaf and that they are a reputable company. i've used undercover tourists before and like them, but i'm new to mapleleaf. the man i spoke with was pleasant and seemed knowledgable.

has anyone ever tried to upgrade these tickets at the parks to an AP? i wonder if it's possible and if so how much more an AP would be.

You are welcome. To let everyone know about the MapleLeaf tickts was the reason I signed to be a DisBoard Member. I lurked here FOREVER and wanted to share it because I wanted to repay all of the great info I learned here lurking..then I became a member and wouldn't post about the tickets because I do not know how to link stuff here :lmao:
