Hi all,

My tickets arrived this morning - just as I was about to chase Lunn Poly up about them!

Were flying from Manchester Terminal 2 with Britannia. Has anybody flown to Orlando recently with Britannia, and can let me know what the service is like - general service, food, movies (TV locations and number would be nice aswell!).

Also, I went to Florida in 2001 and the plane had a screen which updated with your position, height, speed etc. With my excellent memory I cannot remember who I flew with - does Britannia have this?

Thanks,

Sebastian.

Hi,

I also went with Lunn Ploy and flew with Britannia last year and have to say that the service was good and friendly. The only problem i had was leg room. I had assumed that on such a long flight it wouldn't be so cramped. I was short of leg room and i'm only 5'3. My partner (who is 6'2) had to put his legs in the aisle as he could hardly fit them behind the seats. On top of that i had an inconsiderate cow in front of me that insisted on having her seat as far back as it would go, all the way through the flight. Our friends paid the extra £60 (i think) for extra leg room. The only way i would fly with them again was if we paid for extra leg room. It's well worth it. Apart from that everything was fine!
And their website says the planes have recently been redesigned so maybe they not so cramped.

And yes they do have the little tv with the height, speed etc showing how far you have to go.:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Food was the same as all airplane food and our movies were My Big Fat Greek Wedding and Spiderman which were new at the time.

Thanks for the reply. I hope they have changed the leg room, I'm only just over 5'6, so don't usually have a problem.

Did they have seat back TVs? If not, what was the spacing/size of the TVs like?

Thanks again,

Sebastian.

They didn't have seat back tv's when i went. They were the ones that came from the ceiling in the aisle. They were easy enough to see apart from cranning the neck a little bit but they did the job.
