Tickets and bands or bands only?

I have a room only reservation and ordered tickets directly from Disney.
Will they send me actual tickets or just the bands?
My tickets seemed to be linked automatically- it let me make FP+ .

On previous trips involving Magic bands, we either had AAA or UT passes, or AP's so we always had actual ticket cards. And I always had to link them myself. Just wondering if actual tickets will show up in the mail if I ordered them without a package.

You should receive the actual tickets in the mail. Bring them with you, just in case you end up having a problem with your MBs. I just tucked them in my wallet until the end of the trip.

I bring the tickets because it seems one of my teens always forgets to bring a band.

I was wondering because I haven't received them yet and I ordered them 3 weeks ago. Guess I should call.

When I ordered directly from Disney website they didn't send tickets. I had to go to a booth at the entrance of MK to get them and they didn't want to give them to me at first. Never had a problem with the Magic bands so never used the tickets.

Update in case anyone would like to know if they still send the tickets.
I called today and they said that my tickets have been mailed already and I should have received them already.
I haven't received them.

CM said since I am staying onsite, I don't really need tickets, that I can use our bands. (Knew that already- I just feel more secure with actual cards.)

They could send more tickets, but any FP+ I have made would be lost and I would have to start over with the new tickets. Don't want to do that.

So, yes, they will send you tickets.

I suffer from "WhereIsMyTicket-itis" and LOVE seeing my MB on at all times. After an unfortunate guest pass loss, we now give all guests a mini clip on lanyard with a badge holder so they can secure it to their person. Wallets don't work. They realize after the second FP that they have to come in and out and in and out, so they just stick it in a pocket, which spells the end. Whatever your style is (card or MB), I'd definitely make sure you can physically attach it to you. But I'm a MB person all the way personally.

When we went in April, I booked online with Disney and bought our tickets/room as a package. They did not sent physical tickets, they only sent MBs, and I got them about 3 1/2 weeks prior to our trip
