Ticketmania Screw Up

I feel soooo horrible right now...my friend is coming to our wedding and wanted a good price on a PHP ticket.
I checked around here and on mousesavers and all reports on ticketmania were great..no one had problems.
So I recommended them to her. BIG MISTAKE.
She ordered a adult 5 day PHP with 4 options (a special they had). She ordered it at the end of August and it just got here today.
Well guess what---they sent her a childs 5 day PHP with 4 options...WHAT THE HECK. I can't believe they would send the wrong ticket.
She tried calling them and no one is there right now, she left a mssg.
They had better make this right tomorrrow..my gawd they won't even have time to send her another ticket before we have to leave. I told her to demand they overnight it to her as it was there mistake.
So how do you all think they are going to deal with this?
I feel like such crap for recommending this company to her

Maybe when she calls they will offer to send it to her hotel. This company has never had any bad press that I've read and I've been reading here and all over the net for years. I seriously would just call and be very sweet as I explained my panic. Surely there won't be a problem. Does she have the proof of what she paid? If she paid for a childs thinking that was the adult price she may have to put the difference on her card but that wouldn't cause a delay.
 
She does have the confirmation that she ordered a adults.

This will be cool. At the worst (I'm not sure how much time you have so I'd advise just going to their place of business when you get there if they haven't corrected it before then)...at the worst, that's all you will have to do.

If you do have to go there to straighten up their mistake...make sure you get the freebies they give out...and it wouldn't hurt to ask for an extra since they screwed up!

They give out 2 free passes for a miniature golf game located close to their store and a free 20 minute phonecard if you pick your tickets up at the store.

Let us know what happens.

We leave in 21 days! But the website says it takes 11-15 business days..which puts it at when we are leaving..although Jo-anee did say she got her correct tix in 6 days--so I suppose they can send it rush/express/overnight if need be.
We will not have transportation to get to ticketmania-shuttle from MCO to WDW, plus she has the number of days planned out and a detour to ticketmania would cut into one park day as we don't arrive till the afternoon so then she wouldn't need a 5 day!
Lets all cross our fingers they will rush her another ticket-or mabey send it to her hotel.
Do they just hold it at the desk when they send it to the hotel? Can someone give me feedback on this-any problems?

If they don't straighten it out...I'll be down there then WITH a car...heck, I'll go over, pick up the tickets and deliver them to ya!

I mean this...but my guess is...they'll make it right long before then...they are a really great company!

I feel a bit better now that people seem pretty sure ticketmania will fix everything-I will give you guys a update tomorrow.
You can tell alot about a company by their customer service-everyone screws up-what matters is how they handle mistakes right!

ticket mania sent our tickets to our hotel and we got them no problem...i also think they are in orlando so if you have a car you might be able to pick them up..however i am guessing they will deliver to hotel or overnight them if you say "please":)

our tickets to cirque via tm were at the front desk when we checked in, i didn't have to ask for them but naturally would have had they not given them to me first
 
Just wondering if you got ahold of them the next day...the 17th?
What happened? I'm sure that Omar and his son, will make good on this and deliver them to your hotel~!

I think Omar is with Mapleleaf tickets.

Yes-they returned her mssg first thing the next day and said they were mailing the correct ticket right away. She just has to send the other one back.She is going to send it registered mail to make sure it arrives as they told her if it didn't she would be charged for it.
I am soooo happy they dealt with it right away! So looks like everything will be fine!
