I ordered 3 7 day park hopper plus passes and 4 Disney Quest tickets thru them. I received them yesterday but now I'm afraid I should have just bought at Disney. Please tell me that these tickets will be accepted at Disney and that they work fine and have not been used already. They looked similiar to my annual pass that was purchased at Disney last year but I guess I am just a little scared not buying from Disney.Any response will be appreciated.

I've used them to purchase tickets on several occaisions. I've never has a problem with them.

I haven't ordered from ticketmania so I can't offer any info but I have a quick question...

Are the park hopper passes you received plastic like credit cards or is it paper with a barcode or magnetic strip? Not questioning the validity of the tickets because of this variation, I'm just still trying to decide if I want to buy from ticketmania myself because I'd actually prefer the plastic type cards so my son does not rip his or get it wet on accident or etc.

thatchicktrish,
The tickets that I got from Ticketmania were paper but they're more durable that plain cardboard tickets. I wouldn't be too concerned about them getting a little damp and I think that it would take a lot of effort to rip them.

As far as you DS ripping or otherwise destroying them is concerned, a good solution to that would be to give him his pass just before he enters the gates and collect it from him immediately afterwards. My DS is almost 12 and there's no way I would give him the responsibility of managing his own pass. They cost way too much money and I'd hate to get upset with him on vacation if he lost/misplaced/mishandled it.

Ticketmania is great! I buy DQ and PI tickets from them a lot to supplement my AP. I have never had any trouble using their ticket media.

Just remember to photocopy the backs of the tickets. My DS managed to lose a 7 day PHP with 3 days on it before I read about that trick!

Ticketmania is one of the most reliable ticket sources around. You will have no problems with those tickets.

the only place that sells plastic is at WDW or a Disney Store.

the tickets are fine. Look on the back, it should have a recent date on it. And, it will also say it never expires.

I purchased tickets from Ticketmania for our trip last Sept. The tickets are the thick paper tickets with Disney characters printed on one side. The tickets arrived promptly and we had no problems at all using them.

Enjoy your trip!

Thank you so much , now maybe I can relax. I worry about too many things that I should not. I did look at the back of the tickets and made copies of them. I see a code and a date on them but don't see anything about expiration. It did say something about not being good for any park that commenced after 1998. Does that apply to any of the 4 parks?

All parks are included. There is no expiration.

I had a problem with TicketMania (READ ALL OF THIS)

We had ordered Tickets last Spring from Ticketmania. I had forgotten about ordering them until I saw the charge on my CC statement.

I called them on a Saturday or Sunday and spoke with someone who took my information and said someone would call me back. They were very pleasant to speak with.

By Thursday I had not heard back from them so I called them. I was told that they remailed the tickets on Monday. The following day I received the tickets.

That weekend we had my sons birthday party and I mentioned this to a couple of people. My Mother in law overheard me and said she remembered seeing a package from them one day when she brought the mail in.

Off she went. In a few minutes she returned with an envelope containing the original tickets!

I called Ticketmania and told them what had happened. They asked me to mail one set of tickets back to them since they had paid over $700 to replace them.

This is an incredible story which shows the level of service and support they give their customers. I have 100% faith in them and have found them to be reliable and honorable company.

You will see I have been on DIS a long time and am a constructively critical person. I assure you I am not a shill for Ticketmania and do not work for them (unless they want to pay me to commute from Boston). I think what happened with me is a great story which I am pleased to spread.

I do not normally "sign" my emails but if anyone wants to contact me to verify this, you can use mojomanny-at-hotmail.com.

I didn't think for one minute you were a shill for Ticketmania, and I do admire your honesty.
I think they are a wonderful company and have done business with them in the past and have always been happy with them.
I will continue to recommend them as being very good, most especially after reading your post.

Do they do Universal and Seaworld too

Yes, they do. As to Sea World, check their site, they have some really decent prices on etickets.

Here is a copy of my info from www.mousesavers.com

(If you do not subscribe to Mary's newsletter, which is free, you are making a mistake)

Based on the Mousesavers Newsletter I ordered $707 worth of WDW tickets from Ticket Mania in May. When I was going over my credit card statements at the end of June, I saw the charge and realized I had never received the tickets. I called Ticket Mania on a Sunday and they said the tickets had been mailed out on such and such a date. I explained I never received the package. She took the pertinent information and said someone named Andrew would call me back on Monday.

Monday came and went, I was busy and did not think about it again until Friday when I called them back. They said that they had mailed me a replacement set and I should be getting it any day. (What a great surprise that was!) The following day I received a replacement package from them with tons of WDW and Orlando info as well as the tickets.

Now that is great service.

But, it gets better.

Because of the service, I was extolling the virtues of Ticket Mania to my Mother-in-Law who was over on Sunday. She then said a package had come for us one day when she was over and then remembered she had put it in the garage. A quick look confirmed the original package was right where she had left it.

I called Andrew today and let him know the missing tickets had been found and that I was mailing the replacements back to him.

A good customer service story with an even better ending.

I thought you should be aware of the great service they supply and their dedication to customer service. You can feel free to share this with the newsletter readers, on your website or any other way you feel is appropriate.
