I have listed the number of days each person has left on their never expires ticket. I am wondering if it will be better just to get everyone That doesn't have the 7 days we may need, new 7 day tickets. Buying a one day for DD doesn't really make sense and a 2 or 3 for DS seems crazy too. Am I way off base? These never expire are already 2 or 3 years old. Also, I am guessing Undercover tourist will be the best source.

DH - 9 days left on NE ticket -
me - 8 days left on NE ticket-
DD - 6 days left on NE ticket-
DS - 4 days left on NE ticket-
DM - 0 days left on NE ticket- 78 yrs old. This trip is probably her last and it's going to focus on her. We can ride stuff next time.

We are doing Universal Sunday of arrival, Monday & Tuesday. Because we have no wait tickets because we are staying onsite I think we will finish Universal early enough on Tuesday that we could possibly hit a park Tuesday night. It will be Dec. 29th so it really may not be worth using a day.

Wednesday 12-30 - Epcot - 9 Dragons and Teppan Edo with Candlelight Processional and Illuminations MK - is open late so we may head there.

Thursday 12-31 - my son and mom will golf. The other 3 of us don't have plans and probably will avoid the parks. Lunch is at Downtown at Fulton's (my mom's favorite) and dinner is Hoop Dee Doo. We may end up going to HS for extra magic from 12-2 but with only 3 rides it may not be worth the hassle.

Friday - 1-1 Magic Kingdom 11:15 Be Our Guest and Dinner either 'Ohana or 1900 Park Fare - we can't decide. All the parades and fireworks are in the plan today for my mom.

Saturday 1 -2 - HS - lunch at the boardwalk at the brewery and Dinner at Mama Melrose with Fantasmic Package

Sunday 1-3 - Animal Kingdom. Currently have lunch at Yak & Yeti planned with Dinner at Be our Guest. I would love to get Be our Guest on 1-1 when we are already in MK and put 'Ohana on this night but so far no luck.

Monday 1-4 - Crystal Palace 8 AM - mill around till we leave for the airport at 3.

Sorry, but I am totally lost. What do the numbers next to the ages mean (9,8, etc)?
Are you asking us to critique your plan?
Your title is Ticketing question-never expire-are you asking about non-expiring tickets (which I think don't exist anymore)?

Buy the 7 day tickets IF those people will use their old NE tickets on another future trip. I agree, the cost of a one day ticket would be too high to justify.

We still have some days left on NE tickets (very old, some back to 2004) and took them last year to a park ticket booth and had them converted to new ticket media without changing the ticket itself. Wrote with a sharpie who's ticket is was and how many day are left. We use these when we go for just a short weekend trip that would use up all the days left on a ticket, OR when we have a long trip (14 nights) and need an extra day or two above our 10D park ticket we got with our package.

The numbers are the number of days that each person has left on their non-expiring tickets.
So.....as I think I understand it....

DH - 9 - 44 addicted will do anything...means that the husband is 44 years old and has a ticket with 9 days left on it. Since the trip will be for 7 days at WDW, DH does not need to buy a ticket.

DS - 4 - 15 wants to golf twice...means that the son is 15, wants to do some golfing, and has 4 days left on his ticket.

So the question is, should the OP buy a 3 day ticket for the son, thus raising his total of admissions to 7, or just go ahead and buy a whole new 7 day pass for the son, and keep the 4 days left on the existing ticket for another trip. The problem is, we don't know if the golfing reference is supposed to mean that the son doesn't plan to go into the parks all 7 days, or if he wants to enter the parks all 7 days and still squeeze in some golfing. Without knowing that, it becomes difficult to evaluate.

I am sorry - I guess I really gave y'all too much information. I have taken some info out and clarified. other. We will all go to the parks the same number of days. If we go after Universal on Tuesday we will all go and if we go NYE we will all go.

This is what I am currently thinking I should do.

Buy my son and mother 5 day tickets and if we end up going Tuesday and NYE then add the 6 & 7 days. That way I will just save the never expires for the next trip for my son. The only one that I may lose money on is my daughter. She has 6 days. If we go on Tuesday I will just take the risk that we will go and get her a new 5 day and save the never expires.

I think I am making this harder than it has to be.

On a recent trip on which we were not going to park hop I opted to buy new passes for the stay rather than use the non-expiring park hoppers. I figured I would use the NE ones for short stays/trips with few visits to the parks in the future where buying a short stay ticket will definitely be more costly.
