I arrive at the Pop around 1 pm, I know we cant get into our rooms that early, but can we check in and get our park tickets and head to the parks?

Yes. No problem. You can leave your bags with Bell services if you like.

And don't be too sure that your room won't be ready. Sometimes they ARE.

Always check in immediately upon arrival at any Disney resort. We normally arrive around 10:00am and have almost always been given a room immediately. It all depends on how busy the resort is on that day.
Even if you can't get a room you will be given all your paperwork and tickets. The resort will then store your luggage for you until you get your room.
After your check in (whether you get a room right away or not) just head out to the park of your choice and start your fun!
