Ticket ? What would you do?

We are booked for a trip this summer with 6 day PH tickets. We are also planning to go back in December for 5 or 6 days. I am thinking about using our 6 day PH and upgrade to an AP on the last day of our trip. The only hold up is that if free dining is offered during Dec. we will not qualify with a room only reservation and using AP's.

Would you upgrade to an AP and lose free dining if it is offered?

If I do upgrade, I am guessing the AP will expire from the day I purchase it(which will be June 3rd)?

I would upgrade to APs on day one and purchase the TIW card. That way all AP benefits are available right away. This is what we did last year.

The AP would be dated to the day you first used the ticket you upgraded and expire a year from that day. So the first day of your trip, not the last day when you actually upgrade it.
