Ticket value of "Give a Day" ticket?

It says on the website that you can put the value of the one day ticket toward purchasing a multiday ticket or annual pass. It this free "give a day" ticket worth the regular one day pass price ($79)? Thanks! Is there a thread running somewhere on the dis about this program...I couldn't find it.

That is my understanding- that the $79 applies to a multi day ticket if you decide to buy one. I think you have to actually use the ticket first, then have it upgraded, maybe at guest relations? Someone else will know for sure
