Ticket Upgrade Question

Okay long story short. Already purchased MYW 5 day with Hopper Passes for family of 4. 3 Adults and 1 child.

Arriving on Thursday April 28
Departing on Thursday May 5

I have no problem upgrading my tickets to a 7 day. Question is, do I need an 8 day? We've got PS for chef Mickey's at the CR for departing day morning of May 5th.

If my assumption is correct, I'll only need a 7 day due to the fact that we're going to Sea World Friday April 29th (and not to any WDW park that day).

May 5 is the day of the big worldwide celebration -- the parks will be packed, and a lot of stuff will be happening. Under those conditions, I don't think you'll want to go into the parks just for a few hours on your departure day. At least ... I wouldn't!

It sounds like you're planning on going to the parks on your arrival day? If so, and if you're going to the parks on every other day except for the SeaWorld day, then you'll need tickets for Apr 28, 30, May 1, 2, 3, 4 .... which is six days. So, if you want to upgrade your tickets to a 6-day, then do that. But honestly ... unless you're not planning on leaving Orlando until very late in the day on May 5, I wouldn't buy a whole extra day just to be in the middle of the press event.

Good point WDSearcher, I've been trying to get a feeling for what's actually going to be going on May 5th. May be a good day to get out of dodge Have another PS for earlier in the week as well.

True. But if you end up not using them, then you'd have to pay another $45 or $55 to get the non-expiration option so that you can use that ticket next time.
