Ticket upgrade question

Hi all,

I was looking to buy a 3 day park hopper ticket and then upgrade to a So Cal Select Annual Passport. But I had a question first that hopefully someone can help me answer: I planned to upgrade on the day of my third visit, but this day is a blocked date on the annual passport. Would that pose a problem? I did plan to upgrade after using the park hopper on that same day. And then one more question: if I add the maxpass feature to the park hopper, can I also use that as credit toward the annual passport?

Credit for mp is inconsistent.

You can upgrade that day. Shouldn’t be an issue. Usually you can go in on the first date of an ap purchase.
