Ticket upgrade question

Hello,

So we bought a 14 day ultimate, made our fast passes and everything and then decided we could extend our holiday. Does anyone know how or if we can upgrade from a 14 day ultimate to a 21 day ultimate?

The best thing would be to call disney and ask them.

I enquired about upgrading our 14 day pass to an annual pass as we are going back in January too and they said yes its possible but only when we are out there and we can do it at guest services.

Don't expect an easy upgrade though. We upgraded 21 day to AP's a few years back. Got a different price as every location we tried or told it wasn't possible. Cheapest we found was in Hollywood Studios but even there on 2nd visit we were given a higher price.

Should be able to upgrade , or it might be cheaper to buy and annual pass. I am just jealous of the 21 day vacation.

Technically you can have a 14 days changed into a 21 days if it's part of a package. No charge if your amended package costs more than the initial booking
note that you can't change any part of a package if your inside 14 days of departure.

If those are just standalone tickets, then you probably won't be able to upgrade them before you go.
and you won't be able to upgrade to 21 days while in Florida as those tickets are not sold in the US
you'll only be able to upgrade to AP, but as Wayne reported, it's a major pain.

Thanks Chmurf. We actually bought the tickets separate to the hotel, but we are staying at a Disney Hotel for the duration, both tickets and hotel were purchased through the Disney website. I am going to call them and see what they say. The problem probably will be that we booked the Disney hotel via the US website as they had a sale on and the tickets via the UK website. However, it is all linked together on MDE. I really don't want annual passes as we only need four days worth more of tickets. So frustrated with myself!

Packages (tickets and hotel purchased together) can be changed.
you don't have a package, even though you have a hotel and tickets linked. (you can turn a US room only into a package by adding US tickets, but not by mix and matching US and UK)

your main issue will be to have your 14 days upgraded to a 21 days. I don't think this is possible as they are standalone, but Disney Experts over the phone will be able to confirm this.
