Ticket Upgrade Question

I have a trip planned for November. I have purchased 4 day park hopper passes and added the advanced purchase for the Memory Maker. We have all of our fastpasses and everything reserved.

I just found out yesterday that a conference that I am attending in July will be at the Swan/Dolphin instead of Las Vegas as in years past! Yay!

Knowing I am going back again (bringing kids too) I would like to upgrade my 4 day PH's to annual passes. I sent an email to Disney to ask how I would do this without losing my fastpass reservations. I also want to know if I can get a credit for the MM advance purchase towards to the AP upgrade since I won't need that anymore.

Anyone know if this is possible with the new FP+ system and AP's?

Thanks for any advice!

You can upgrade to any higher-level ticket after you have arrived at WDW.
You won't lose any FP+.

Don't know about the dining fee, but I'd think that can be handled if you ask nicely.

Thanks Robo! I don't have the dining plan so not worried about that. I just see that the memory maker advanced purchase is listed as non-refundable, but if I upgrade to the AP I won't need that. I don't need my money back, I would just like a credit that I can apply to the AP charges. Do you think that would be possible at all? If I can't get the credit, I'm not sure if the math would work out to make the AP a better overall deal.

Ask… and if the deal doesn't look good, just cheerfully decline it.
(Then, try at another Guest Relations, if you like.)
