Ticket upgrade Question-Hopper plus to AP??

I know you can upgrade from hoppers to Annual passes(I did this our 1st trip to WDW 1 1/2 years ago- upgraded from a 5 day hopper to AP). If I get a 4 or 5 day hopper plus can I upgrade to an AP or do I have to upgrade to an AP premium(the one with water parks)??

We upgraded 4 6-day hopper pluses to APs a couple years ago. It was within 7 days, so we got full credit. No mention was made about being required to do PAP although I have read that on these boards.

If you're asking about doing it within the 7 day window, then the answer is yes as long as you haven't used any of the plus options yet. If you used any of the plus options, you should only be allowed to upgrade to a PAP.

If you're looking to do it with an older PHP, then yes you can despite any usage. They will just apply the prorated value of your remaining days to a new AP.

Thank you.... I just wanted to buy the passes for our Sept trip now, since the ticket prices are supposed to go up next week. I was going to buy hopper plusses but really wanted AP's again. (I don't know if it's in our budget for the AP's), If we have the money we could upgrade them to AP's when we go in Sept.

So you could not buy the HP at discounted prices anywhere and then paying for the upgrade by having that portion of the price go unaccounted for?
