Ticket upgrade from MYW to Ap with DVC discount

Hi

I try to do things in as confusing a manner as possible!

We are heading down to WDW in Dec, we bought MYW tickets and they are probably in the mail right now being sent to us. DH and I were just talking and have tentatively decided to go again in Oct 2006...so it really would make more sense to have APs....

So, do we wait until we get to WDW in Dec to try to upgrade (and is it possible to upgrade and get the DVC discount), or do we try to do it now...is there any way to even do it now?

We will miss out of AP discounts for this trip in Dec if we can't change it now but we may have to just suck that up!

Yes, you can upgrade at WDW- you will need to have the MYW passes in hand at the time so they can verify the information encoded on the pass regarding the price paid and days remaining. They will then credit that cost towards the discounted AP. One MYW can be used towards one AP.

Just go to Guest Services at any of the Theme Parks (located to the right of the Ticket Booths at MK and Epcot, to the left at MGM and to the left at AK- all before the turnstyles).

Make sure you have your DVC membership card, photo ID (drivers license) and MYW and you'll be fine.

You can also upgrade them at Downtown Disney. We did this in Sept.
