Ticket tied to Room Key?

Good morning, I will be traveling to WDW in January and staying at the OKW resort thanks to my generous uncle that is a DVC member. I know there are some advantages of having your park ticket tied to your room key; but, my question is, if I purchase my tickets in advance, will they still be tied to my room key or will I have two different cards to deal with?

Will this be affected if I purchase them directly from Disney in advance versus purchasing them from one of the authorized resellers (i.e. Undercover Tourist, etc.)?

If it is true that there will be two different cards if I purchase them in advance, is the advantages of having them on one card worth the increase in price?

You will have 2 to start but you can have the park tickets put on the room key, just ask when you check in.

Yes, after you check-in, take your tickets and room keys to the conceirge desk, they can be added to your room key even from a 3rd party vendor.

At OKW the concierge windows are to the right, main check-in desk is straight ahead as you enter the lobby from the main walkway.
