Ticket suggestions

we are looking at going to Florida for 3 weeks this Christmas.

Supposedly :rotfl: we are not going to go to WDW as much (normally I would have got a 21 day pass so we could go in & out as we liked). However as most of the tickets have an expiry of 14 days after 1st use I'm not sure how we could spread a few visits over the 3 weeks?

Any suggestion?

Also, I was looking at going to Discovery Cove as we have never done this so the 2 tickets combined were looking pretty pricey.

You can purchase the Magic Your Way tickets which are an American based tickets for how ever many days you plan on visiting Disney and pay extra for non expiry.
A 10 day pass(no hopping or water etc) is $431 wheree as a 21 day unlimited pass is £187 so unless you are only looking at 4/5 days in Disney I would still purchase the 21 day ultimate(sure you will use it:rotfl: )
Also Discovery Cove is seperate but you do get the option of a 7 day Seaworld or Bush garden pass and the day in Discovery Cove is well worth it. Will be our 4th time this year and still find it an amazing day.

I would also recommend the MYW 10 day tickets. If you don't use all the visits you also have the option to upgrade to non-expiry and use them on another trip. However if you think you'll use quite a few days the 14 or 21 day tickets are good value in comparison.

The Discovery Cove Ultimate package includes 14 days unlimited admission to Seaworld, Busch Gardens and Aquatica which could fill up quite a few days of your holiday for not a lot of extra cost.

I was also going to suggest the DC ultimate ticket - and I didn't even realise it now includes Aquatica. Now that is a ticket worth having!

Although I suppose you might end up doubling up if you are also going for the Flex ticket or Flex ticket plus - it might be better to go for DC with 7 days to Busch Gardens, plus a Flex ticket which would get you into IOA, US, SW, Aquatica & WNW for 14 consecutive days.

I can't help with the WDW tickets as I find them a bit confusing myself!
You could split your holiday though - have the first week based away from Disney, the second week a mixture of the two and then the third week Disney only?
I know it limits where you can go when but could work out cheaper?

If you are really not planning on doing Disney get your 'Disney fix' by visiting the hotels (all the Christmas decorations are great) and then just purchase a ticket for MVMCP getting you into Magic Kingdom from about 4pm through to close. It is a great event and saves you quite a bit as it is an individual ticket - no day pass is needed :goodvibes

Thanks for the ideas - the MVMCP is a good suggestion. I was also thinking of booking a character meal at one off the hotels so DD could see some characters.:thumbsup2

We've gone for these this year. Very good idea if you're going to DC.
