We go to WDW for a week or two once every two or three years. In looking over the strategies for which tickets to buy, it seemed like buying the 10-day no-expiration tickets was the best idea for the long-term. The no-expiration option is not cheap, but it does lock us in for about 2 1/2 trips, which means about the next 4-6 years.

Does this strategy seem the best over the long-term? Are there any gotcha's that I may have overlooked in this?
 
Makes sense to me. The only way that wouldn't be the best way to go would be if you were taking a single trip of 10 days (in which case why pay for non-expiring). Otherwise it sounds good to me.
 
Thats what we did, too. If you go to the Ticketmania website, the difference in non-expiry tickets per day was so small between the 8-9- and 10 days, that it made sense to go out 10 days. Just don't lose them.
 
That's what we did too. I bought 10-day non-expiry MYW tickets for me and the kids and 5-day expiry MYW ticket for DH. DH doesn't like to go every trip and I didn't want to lose his over a couple of years so I figured I would just get them for me and the kids so we can go next year. This seems to be the most economical option.
