Two of our guests are staying at Disney for 3 nights, but are only planning to get one day tickets to the magic kingdom. We are having dinner at a resort their first night, the wedding and reception dinner at a resort the next day, going to the magic kingdom the third day, and a fireworks cruise that night. Is there going to be any problems w/ them not having a park hopper ticket? I can't get a straight answer from my EM, all she said was they need tickets. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. I don't know what I would do w/ this board.

They do not need tickets unless they are attending a park. You do not need a ticket to go on a fireworks cruise or do anything at a resort.

As long as the group doesn't decide to switch after being in MK to another park they won't have trouble having just a 1 Park/1 Day ticket. If you need admission for any part of the wedding events the EM will arrange for wristbands or something with you as part of your event planning.
