Ticket questions

Sorry to bug you guys but this will be my very first trip to universal studios and its better to be informed then to go in not knowing. I have questions on the tickets im buying
We are only going one day on a thursday the date will be july 26 Its me my sister and my 8yr old boy.
My questions are as follows, Should I buy my tickets now or wait till end of june to see if they offer up a diffrent deal? Right now im looking into buying the One day two park pass and Im buying them online. How does the electronic pickup work and can I use my debit mastercard for there purchase? We are looking into buying the 50 dollar express pass I read how it works with one ride only once but want to know does it go on your admissions ticket? How exaclty with the electronic pickup do I go about knowing if the express pass is on the ticket? Sorry for all the questions but you all here are always so helpful and for some odd reason I cant seem to find any guidebooks on universal. thanks in advance

To answer your questions:

Yes...you can use your Debit card to purchase the tix either online or at the park. I use mine for my AP renewal every year.

I'm not sure about the Express Passes on the tickets. I would imagine if there wasn't anything on the ticket, you would get some kind of voucher that you would have to take to Guest Services to exchange for the actual passes.

The electronic ticket machines are easy to use but you must have the actual card used to purchase and have the confirmation number..which must be entered.
