Hi, we want go to Universal Studios on monday oct. 10, I´m not from the US but I know is Columbus Day. Do I need the Ticket which includes a one express pass for each attraction (I don´t know how is called), or a normal ticket and arrive early to the park?

Thank you
Elisa

It depends on if you want to wait on lines or not & if you want to pay extra for the convience. It will be crowded but not unbearable. If you get there early enough you can at least get one park half way done before the real crowds start. That is just my opinion. I will not buy one of those express pass booklets, I don't think it is worth it just to skip the line once per ride. Depending on how many are in your party, it may be worth (also maybe too late now) to stay onsite. Sometimes that works out cheaper than buying an entire family one booklet each. I stay onsite sometimes & offsite sometimes (depends on what I can afford at the time I am going).

We always go in the summer when it is very crowded. we never buy that express pass booklet thing. we always get there before the park opens and then get the express pass that anyone can get free. we are always able to do the whole park in one day. The only ride we bypass is at IOA, the pteradactl ride which is always a very long wait.
