I am looking to buy a ticket for my 3 yesr old for our next visit. We are going for 2 weeks and was looking to buy a 14 day ticket. (I do not want to buy an annual pass, as my wife and I have one but it will expire right after our next visit, so I want to wait to get my daughter one so we will all be on the same schedule for expiration). On the Disney website the tickets only go as high as 10 day tickets. Is it possible to get a 14 day ticket? The difference between a 5 day and 10 day hopper ticket with an expiration is only $9!! I just want to add 4 more days and not have to fork over the big bucks to buy a separate 10 day and 4 day ticket. Thanks for the help!

Disney does not sell 14 day tickets but from time to time other outfits including some travel agents do, over the internet.

At gate prices, 14 days with hopping cost more than an annual pass. With advance purchase you can get the 14 days for a little less.

If you were planning to do water parks all along, by scheduling your water park visits so you do not go into theme parks on those days, you may cut down your ticket requirements to say 11 or 12 theme park days.

How about buying the 10 day pass and the 4 (or 3 or 2) day pass for your child but no hopping and no plus pack on the shorter pass? You do not need hopping to visit both a theme park and a water park (or two water parks) on the same day, but you do need to be very very careful which pass you insert into which turnstile -- the long pass at the water park and, on a non-hopping day, the short pass at the theme park.

By the looks of things the price only increases a couple of dollars a day between the 5 day and 10 day pass. The total difference is only $9, so I don't want to have to pay for a 10 day and another separare 4-day ticket. Is it possible to buy a 10-day ticket, use 4-5 days on it, then turn it in and uprgade it back to a 10day ticket?

I don't think you'll be able to do that. It is already a 10 day ticket.

Yes it is if you know where to look. ;) There are 14 and 21 day tickets around that are being sold by some of the wholesalers. These, like last year's Fun in the Sun and 10 Day World Pass tickets, are intended for the international market but can be purchased domestically.

The difference from the MYW tickets is that the 14 day Ultimate Ticket includes everything - theme parks and minor parks - for as many visits as you want during the 14 days. You don't have to count plus visits. It's just like the old UPH tickets used to be.

Down side is the ticket expires in 14 days and cannot have the non expiration option attached to it. It also will have an expiration date that the ticket must be used by so you cannot buy and hold them for the future.

Cost for a child's ticket is around $290 but currently at least one wholesaler (Discount Orlando Vacation) has it at $275 temporarily.

Forget the time of renewal, an annual pass is the cheapest way to go for your DD if you want a 14-day pass.

The next cheapest option would be to get two 7-day tickets.

But I say go for the AP, it's the cheapest option that gets you what you want.

An AP is actually the most expensive option available to them.

$357.84 - Child's AP
$340.80 - two 7 day child MYW base w/expiration
$275.00 - 14 day child Ultimate Ticket

True, the child's AP is more expensive than a MYW with NO HOPPING, but since Tigger9 and his DW have APs and they will be at WDW for 14 days, I would guess that park hopping is most likely nessecary for them.

$357.84 - Child's AP
$396.18 - two 7 day child MYW Hopper w/expiration

Where can you get a 14-day Ultimate ticket in the United States? I thought they were only available for UK residents, but if they are available for US residents, that's a great bargain.
