Would you? A. 4 days no park hopping or B. 3 days with park hopping

We are staying at an EPCOT resort. We've been enough we know what we like and what we can skip. We'll probably only do one table service meal. Two parents, two tweens. I like the idea of trying to relax more this trip which leads me to 4 days no hopping but would like to hop because of our hotel location.

Buy 3 days, no hopping.

Then, after you are THERE and see what you want to do, add either or both options as an upgrade.
It keeps your choices open and doesn't cost anything extra to wait.

The only thing you'd miss is being able to advance-book FP on that 4th day, should you decide to add it, but you COULD make the FPs for that 4th park as SOON as you made that upgrade.

why not 4 days with park hopper. this way you can do both. but I do understand the extra money

you do not need to dd the park hopper until you get there.

Well, I'm not much of a park hopper. Once in a park, i hate to leave the bubble. I'd say 4 days, no hopper.

If I buy a five day ticket can I change ge it to a 4 day hopper once we are there or can I only upgrade to a 5 day hopper?

A 5-day Base costs $340
A 4-day Hopper costs $394

So, since a 4-day Hopper costs MORE, that is considered an upgrade, and can be done.

Prices, plus tax.

I've been to WDW so many times I truly cannot count.
I've hopped maybe twice since the opening of Epcot (then EPCOT Center).

When we stayed at an Epcot resort (BC) we hopped at least once a day. We would head out to a park on the morning, come back in the afternoon, some would walk over to DHS, we'd walk over to Epcot for dinner... I think it would stink to not be able to walk on over to see illuminations just because we went to AK that morning.
