Ticket Question.

I think I know the answer to my question, but not 100 percent sure. Right now we have a trip scheduled for early June. This trip may need to be rescheduled to August, but I won't know for sure until after my FastPass+ window has passed. If I reserve FastPass+'s when my window opens in early April than have to reschedule my trip to August, does it affect my tickets? I thinking all I need to do is cancel my FastPass+'s and reschedule them when my August trip window opens. Is this correct? Thanks in advance.
