I am going to US/IOA in a couple weeks. We will not be staying on property and will be coming over from Disney just for the day. I only realized recently that it's Columbus Day, but not much I can do about that now. I want to avoid crazy ticket lines as much as possible. If I buy them online beforehand, do I still have to go to will call, or can I go right to the gate? What's the quickest way to get tickets? I plan to get there about an hour before the park opens for non-resort guests. Is that a good amount of time? I am only really interested in WWOHP. Also, that day US is open 8-7 and IOA is open 9-7. How do you know which parks open early for resort guests? Or do both of them open an hour early?

I guess it's not just a ticket questions, but thanks!

I would just do the print at home for the one day ticket. Then you don't have to stand in any lines to pick them up.

Sounds like US will be the one open for early entry.

So I can just take any tickets purchased online straight to the gate? Or is print at home a specific option?

The print at home option is your ticket....the 8 1/2 x 11 sheet from your printer. You have to carry those around to use for entry. But, you don't have to wait at a ticket booth or kiosk to get your tickets.

When you purchase your ticket online, you will be given delivery options. One is to have your ticket sent to you. Another is to pick up at the kiosk and the third is to print it at home yourself.

Perfect, thank you so much!

I would, and have, just order it will call then go to the kiosk. Get there early just in case of crowds, go to the kiosk and get your ticket.

The name is so you don't get your ticket mixed up with someone else who might be in your group. Once you use that ticket your biometrics (finger scan) will be associated with that ticket. It can be a hassle when they get mixed up. You can make extra copies by either printing extra or making a copy of them. This helps in case they get wet but if they do, you can also get them reprinted at guest services.
