We booked a package including tickets because they were discounted...we are now planning to get annual passes because a family trip is planned for Thanksgiving...

We want to keep the tickets on our package and let 2 family members use them in Nov.

I was told by the ticket CM we can do this if we never use the tickets and they can be left on our room card...

Has anyone else did this??? Just a bit nervous about it not working out...

thanks

There is an entire sticky regarding tickets on the Theme Parks and Strategy board that can answer your question. It is maintained by a CM that works with the tickets on a daily basis.

Correct, if you do NOT use the tickets, you can give them to a family member of the same age group (adult or child 3-9). After you arrive you can request to have them removed from your KTTW card onto separate media so you don't accidentally use them. If anyone in your party accidentally uses their ticket, it can never be given to another person to use as it will be tracked with a finger scan, and unless you purchase the no-expiration option it will expire in 14 days from first use.

Alternatively, you could use the tickets purchased with your package and "upgrade" them to the APs, which will give you a bit of a discount on the APs.

As MissyTara indicated, there is very detailed information about tickets in a sticky on the TPAS forum.

Enjoy your vacation!
