My mom purchased a 2 day 2 park non hopper ticket for 7/3 & 7/4 online. So my ticket is a piece of paper. She called Universal & told the lady she won't be giving her credit card to me to get the tickets at the park since she is dropping me off. The lady said I just need my drivers license. Is that correct? & Do I trade the piece of paper for tickets they print out at the park if so where? Or do I use the printed piece of paper at the turn styles? I hope that piece of paper is not my real ticket! I like those business card size glossy tickets w/the logo on it since I like saving my park tickets.

did your mom do the print at home ticket once she bought it online?

or

did your mom set up kiosk pick up?
if it is kiosk pick up, take your confimation email/statement to guest services to exchange for the ticket.
you'll need identification in order to do this process.

rereading your post makes me think you did the print at home ticket.
if that is the case, print off a few more so you'll have extras in case ..well, in case you get one wet and unreadable.

the print at home tickets are not like the credit card size tickets you can buy.

It sounds like you did the print at home tickets and the sheets of paper are your actual ticket. Guest Services will only exchange them for the "regular" sized tickets in an emergency so do what Macraven suggested and print several copies in case the one you're using gets wet or torn or otherwise unuseable. You should always take ID with you when you travel...you never know what might happen and if you're asked for ID you need to be able to provide it.

Last trip, I had one of our tickets in the "print-at-home" type. I asked Guest Services to print us a standard size ticket so it would fit in a lanyard, and they did it with a smile on their face!

Does the paper say in big bold (usually red) letters "This is your admission ticket"? If so then that is your ticket and you take that right to the turnstyle.

If it looks more like a confirmation of the order you bring that to the ticket window since you won't have a credit card to use the kiosks. A word of caution, Have your mother make sure that the online ticket store put a note saying 'Disneyparks will be picking up this order'. If there is no note we cannot issue the ticket to you since you are not who purchased the tickets.

try having the note say Universal parks.........:)

I don't think there's big bold red lettering or a barcode. I didn't really study what was printed. My mom didn't let me see it-she put it in a safe place already. But what I saw on the screen was 2 tickets & then the total below & I guess it would have what credit card my mom used-it looked like the contents on a shopping cart check out page. I was going to have my dad help me get the tickets just in case of a problem. I'm not sure what printed out. I won't find out until the day I'm going. So my mom has to tell Universal that I will be picking them up if so how does she do that? Again my mom called Universal & told the lady she won't be giving me her credit card. The lady said all I need is my id-use my drivers license. But I'm confused. Where do I show the printed paper & my id -at the turnstyle or can I exchange it for a nice credit card size ticket(a piece of paper is not a nice souvenir ticket!) if so where? Sorry guys I'm very confused! I just don't want there to be a problem. I plan on getting there at 7:30 just before opening.

when you are dropped off at UO, go directly to guest services that is outside of the park entrance.
the GS building will be to the right of where the gates are located.

show them the paper and your id.
they will take it from there.

just a thought.
maybe your mom also bought you the express pass and wants to surprise you.....
could be the reason she won't show you the paper now.

Thanks for all your help. I'm more clear now on what to do. I am going to Islands Of Adventure first. Where is Guest Services at Islands Of Adventure? & Is Guest Services busy on crowded days to get my tickets(doing Islands Of Adventure one day & Universal Studios the next) -will it take a long time?
PS: I doubt it. We both know the one use express ticket is not worth it & she won't pay the VIP express price either. :(

as you are walking thru city walk, you continue to walk straight ahead towards IOA.

once you pass the tower which is outside of the park, start to look towards your right.

signs will show what is in that section outside of the park.
First Aid, Guest Services, Restrooms, etc

it is about a minute walk to that area.

guest services are on the left side of that building.

or you can use the ticket counter section where you line up outside to do the transaction for your ticket.

if you want more detail info, you can send an email to guest services and ask them questions that you may have.
they do respond back to everyone.

guest services are located inside the parks and outside the parks.
