ticket question

We are planning a trip to CA in June. Here is my plan so far. I have 2 adults and 2 children (ages 6 and 4) in my party.
1 day LegoLand
1 day Sea World
1 day SD Zoo
4 days DL (parkhopper tickets)
Should we get the Southern California City Pass or just buy tickets for everything seperately?
We don't have anything planned for the day we arrive in CA, we do there early! Would my kids like Universal? I see that it is included in the City Pass. Also-the city pass is for a 3-day Park HOpper Pass to DL. We need a 4 day ticket...can we upgrade it to a 4 day at Dl and for how much or will we have to buy another single day ticket? I am just trying to figure out the cheapest way to do all that we want to do. Thanks for your help!

The city pass only come with 3 day DL parkhoppers. So if you are wanting to go for 4 days,you will have to purchase seperatly

I'm pretty sure that I have read where you could upgrade the City Pass Park Hopper to add on days at Disneyland....which I assume would be a better bargain that purchasing everything seperately. I apologize that I can't confirm this...

You can upgrade the hopper, people have done it repeatedly. You pay the difference between the ticket's value (which is generally the pre-purchase price of a 3 day on disneyland.com) and the price of a 4 day ticket at the gates. (yes, the DLR ticket is a HUGE portion of the value of the citypass!)

You'll have to run your numbers to see if it's good for you to buy the citypass. I can't remember if legoland is on the list...

You might also check out the Go San Diego card up against the citypass...the go card includes lego and the zoo but does not seem to include seaworld or universal.
