Perhaps I am just confused (wouldn't be the first time ) but I thought that I read it was possible to purchase MNSSHP tickets at a discount as a DVC member? Can anyone confirm? And where on the member site do I find details? Thanks!

Only certain dates are available for the discount. Also there are annual pass discounts too.

Just call MS they will give you the dates WDW is offering DVC discounts. We are going on October 2nd with a DVC discount. Tickets will be at the will call window when we arrive.
