as a PROUD AP holder :cool1: , i wanted to know how to purchase tickets?? Can I purchase them online (didn't see where to enter AP info) or do I have to purchase them at the park window?? DB is going with his crew in Oct., and I know I can get ticket discount with my AP....never dun it before....how do??
TIA! :wave2:

Could you really do better than the 7 days for $85? I don't think there is a discount offered for AP holders on that one.

i agree...however, they are doing Disney, Seaworld and Universal (dunno if 1 day or 2, both parks or 1) in a 6 day visit :scared1: They are going to be runnin' crazy...... they will probably only do 1 day at UO, so i was checking that out. I know AP holders can get 10% off single day tix, and 15% off multiday tix....just wonderin if i can get them online or have to buy them at window??:confused3

my hubby and i were thinking of doing a trip but a very short trip... get there on a monday, spend tues and wed at the parks then go home on thursday... what kind of tickets should i get?

i noticed everyone talking about a 85 dollar... 7 days unlimited at the two parks, does this include sea world or anything like that? (don't laugh, i really don't know)

Just wondering if we should just do the 7 day package and hope to get there in time on monday to walk through the park that night before or what? any ideas would be much appreciated...

thanks!
Jaime

The 7 day ticket is for IOA and US only. The pass expires 6 days after the first use. I think this ticket would be cheaper than any other 2 day ticket. In the past, the 2 day/2 park ticket was $99.
Here's a link to the $85 deal:

Back to your question. I think that if you follow this link:
http://www.universalorlando.com/annualpass/index.php.html
and log in with your AP# and PIN, that you can take advantage of the discount tickets. I don't have my AP with me right now, so I can't log in.

Thanks Alison...i logged in to AP last nite on the website.... I didn't see anywhere to enter my AP number to get the discounts online (went thru a whole "mock" purchase and everything)...seemed if I wanted to purchase "day" tickets, it took me back to regular ticket page...:confused3

Where's Phamton? She'll know!

The ticket discount is only good at the ticket booths right in front of the gates. You cannot use it online. The AP section of the Universal Orlando site only has the newsletter (still the fall 06 one), a benefit section for what AP holders can get at upcoming events (Ellen tickets and throwing the beads on the Mardi Gras floats), what discounts you can get, and the information on the $99 renewal of the preferred pass.

bubba's mom.....i don't know which would be a better deal.
buy the tickets at the gate with the ap for the discount or use the coupon in the entertainment book for the discount.

if you want my coupon, let me know.
not sure if it is the best deal, haven't had enough coffee in me to do the math this morning.
in the ent book the coupon says $8 off any 2 day/2 park ticket for kids and adults.
or/and $5 off a 1 day 1 park ticket for kids and adults.

i have the save up to $100 for any UO vacation booking if anyone wants that.
book the room and tickets and use the coupon for either $50 or 100 off.

i have the ap so i don't need tickets and can't use that coupon

yep...that's what i saw there.... benefits.... probably not much of a savings buying the tickets at the window....they're usually priced a bit higher anyhows.....

yeah, phamton would know......but, i guess she's busy at her 'office' ;) eh, no worries....she'll be along!

oh SNAP!!!! posted almost the same time!!!

in the ent book the coupon says $5 off a 1 day 1 park ticket for kids and adults.

i

thanks....how many tickets/people can you purchase this for?? (they are party of 3 adults/3 kids)

The online tickets are already highly discounted--even the one day tickets are discounted. The online discount is cheaper than the discount you get with your AP. If a ticket is already dscounted, you usually do not get a further discount with your AP. Your best bet is to purchase online becuase you only get a 10% AP discount on one day tickets or 15% on multi-day tickets at the gate. It looks like the tickets online are cheaper than that.

thanks Bev... we knew you'd be around....eventually.....

do you think using the $5 ent coupon at the gate is cheaper than online?? (thinking 1 day/2park ticket)......

thanks....as usual.....;)

You save $4 buying online for the one day ticket. It sounds like the entertainment coupon would save you a dollar more. Personally, if I wanted a one day ticket, I'd buy it online and print it at home. It's not worth the dollar savings if you have to wait in line at the ticket booths.

i didn't have enough coffee in me this morning to do the math.

i have both coupons for tickets which i don't need.
i'll hang onto them in case bubba's mom wants them.

the ent coupon for money off on a package anyone can have.
with me having the ap, i don't want to pay extra for the tickets in the package

the ent book also has the 15% off coupon/ food and beverages for one of four cs at UO. if the ap discount has decreased on those places then i will be using this coupon
