Ticket Question

Okay.

I decided I am going to go to Disney during Christmas for nearly a week. I have some questions before I actually go about purchasing the plan. For one, is it cheaper to purchase the package deal or purchase the tickets from some place else? Does anyone have experience with this?

Also, I already have one day left on an already existing pass. Could I use that during my stay for ONE of the days? That's for everything!

Nearly always (much) cheaper to purchase everything yourself separately (even FROM Disney) than to buy a Disney "Package".
Pkg's. include things that most folks can not and will not ever "fully use" (or eat).

Yes, you CAN use your one day pass, but when you must buy more days following that, it will actually cost you MORE if you DO. Go ahead and figure the price difference.
(You MIGHT want to save the one day pass for a future one-day "stop-off").

Agree with previous poster... I would save the one day pass for another trip. Disney has made it such an incentive to get more days on your passes. The difference in tickets that do expire is about $1-$2 for each additional day.

I think your best bet is to get a room only (if you have AAA check to see if there is a discount available).

We always get our tickets through ticketmania.com. Their prices include tax so when you are comparing them to disney make sure you add the disney tickets to your cart first to get the price w/ tax so that you are comparing apples to apples.

In my opinion the only reason to get a package is if
1. they are running a special
2. you want the dining plan

other than ticketmania you can try mapleleaf tickets. If you haven't already you may want to go to these two websites & register for newsletters!
