I have a confusing question about tickets. First, we are annual passholders except for our daugher who is 2. My wife and I are going to WDW in September and staying on property. My wife would like the dining plan. When we called disney, they said we could purchase 2 one day passes, get the dining plan and not use the one day passes. They said these passes never expire. Does this sound right? They also said we could use the purchase price of these one day passes towards annual passes in the future. Does this make sense? Sorry about the rambling. Thanks for any help.

Unless you're staying at a DVC resort on DVC points, the Dining Plan requires purchase of a qualifying vacation package, including both hotel room and admission purchase, along with the Dining Plan. So it sounds like you got completely accurate information.
