Ticket question

Hey all,

Just wondering if you book 4 nights at a resort but only a 4 day park hopper ticket (whatever thay call them now) is the ticket good 4 days from first use or first issue? i.e. arrive wednesday at resort but no parks until thursday-sunday. Would the ticket start counting from Wednesday or Thursday?

If you buy an expiring ticket it will be good for 14 days from first use.
