Ticket Question

Ok, I am going on a Boardwalk Inn MYW package deal for early May. I purchased (2) 4 day base tickets which totaled to an amount of $390.00. I got the code to get the free park hopper and the Water Park Fun and more added on at no additional cost.

I then took advantage of the government rate for a weekend stay at the Swan hotel for a Late September trip.

I will need (2) 2 day park hopper passes for my September Trip. That price is $330 for the two of us.

My question is can I upgrade my 4 day MYW tickets to 6 day parkhopper non experiation tickets? The cost of that for two people is $570, which would be an upgrade cost of $180. Also what would be the best way to do this, call CRO or handle it at the resort? Another question is I know that they put the tickets on my room card, would I still be able to use that room card in September?

Yes, you can upgrade the tickets. I don't think it matters how you do it, either way will work. Then when you go back, you would still use the old room key as the park ticket. I believe it may be possible to transfer the ticket from the old room key to the new room key when you check in. You would have to ask at the desk when you check in.

I suggest calling immediately to deal with the tickets. If you get a "no" try at least once more for a second opinion. Also consider upgrading to seven or ten days rather than six, you get one more water park fun admission too, compared with six days.

Calling CRO now is a ressie change. Waiting to change the tickets until after you get there is a ticket upgrade which may have different rules.

There have been reports that upgrading the tickets with free hopping etc. nullifies the free hopping, etc. resulting in an obviously higher dollar shell-out to do the upgrade. If the answer is "no we can't" both times when you call CRO now, the answer will also be "no" when you arrive at the resort.
