Ticket question re MDE

Have tickets and resort separate not package. Have tickets linked. One in the party now cannot go. The ticket will remain in MDE....can I assign any person to that ticket in the future or only the original person (who can't go this time)

Unused tickets are completely transferable. How that works in MDX, I have no idea.
