Okay I'm REALLY worried cause my friends mom just told me that when she booked our trip the lady told us that we could only go to one place per night (i.e. if we go to Disney Quest then we can't go to any other extra places for the rest of the day) This isn't regarding parks I don' think. AHHHH, I don't know, please someone tell me that my friends mom heard the lady wrong!

If you buy a non-parking hopping ticket, you can only go to one park per day. I don't think that applies to the "plus" options. She could have meant if you go to Disney Quest and then want to go to another plus option, like a waterpark in the same day, you will use 2 plusses, not one even if you have a park hopper.

well we're staying at the Boardwalk, so wouldn't we have Ultimate Park Hoppers. She said something like, for example: Quest on monday, Water parks on tuesday, etc.) I don't get this

You'll probably want to get more specific information from her about what kind of tickets you're going to have, and then we can help you get the most out of your experience with them.

I think that my friend's mom just heard the Disney lady wrong, she told me that they said there were no more Ultimate Park Hoppers. That just doesn't sound right to me, does anyone have any idea what might be going on, what did she think she hear?

It would be extremely hard to guess, without knowing the specific tickets she purchased. Last year, Disney started offering a choice between park-hopping and non-park-hopping, and between expiring and non-expiring, at every duration between three days and ten days, so that includes many choices that were not available previously. However, those choices are with regard to the things like water parks, DisneyQuest, and Pleasure Island, which are futher add-on options. Basically, you can buy whatever you like now, and so, again, without knowing what your friend's mother bought, it is very hard to help further.

Okay, thanks for the info. I'm just gonna have to get her to call Disney and then I'll talk to them, I need to get this straightened out. Thanks again! :earsboy:

You need the Water Park Fun & More on your theme park admission ticket (or a separate Disney Quest ticket) and you do not need Hopping to get into Disney Quest and also one theme park that day.

If you are going to Disney Quest just once and water parks not at all, the single Disney Quest ticket (about $30.) is better. Two or more of these minor park or "plus" visits and Water Park Fun ($48.) is better.

You can add the Water Park Fun & More for the same $48. to your advance purchased or room package ticket after you get to Disney.

Entering Disney Quest (or a water park) will not consume a theme park day off of your pass. (Entering a theme park earlier or later of course will.)

There are a few promotional (non-standard) passes with unlimited Disney Quest and water park admission but the standard Magic Your Way passes are not ultimate; they have a finite number (maximum of five) minor park admission which you may use in any order, combination, or repetition of places visited. So you will get more out of your ticket if you make a few long visits to Disney Quest instead of several short visits.

The Ultimate Park Hopper, (or Length of Stay Pass) to my knowledge, no longer exists. It gave unlimited admission to basically everything during your resort stay. There are now several options for Magic Your Way tickets. They are more similar to the old "Park Hopper Plus" tickets. Assuming you have the park hopper option, you can visit as many theme parks as you like in one day for the number of days you have purchased for your ticket, but the unlimited "plusses" like mini-golf, water parks & Disney Quest are gone, you have a set number of admissions to those plus attractions.
