Ticket Question: Can I Use 2 Days Admission at Different Parks on the Same Day?

I don't really know how to phrase this question and I am pretty sure I already know the answer but I thought I would give it a shot. We are going in early February 2006 and we might park hop one day - maybe two but probably just one day. If I buy a 7 day base ticket with park hopping it will cost me $237.50. If I buy an 8 day base ticket with no park hopping it will cost me $215.13. A 9 day base ticket is still only $218.33.

Say on my last day I want to go to both MK and Epcot. Can I just buy an 8 day base ticket and use my 7th day at MK in the morning and then my 8th day later that evening at Epcot?

It just seems so expensive to pay for park hopping for only one day.

It has been said on this board that no, you can't do that. The computer records you as having already entered another park that day.

Is it possible to add park hopping later in the week if we need it? Then I could make a decision after we have already been in the parks a few days.

Yes you can add park hopping later to a MYW ticket, the cost is the same ($37.) no matter how many days were on the ticket or how many days remain or where you bought the ticket.
